The market is big enough with a lot of exotic stuff
There's also the farmer market
Maybe a little far from Napa or Sonoma but the place it's worthwhile a visit

Old Faithful was fun to see.
Old Faithful was fun to see. We also went to the Petrified Forest, which was amazing to see those trees. We had Thai food in town. Do a couples mud bath/massage at Doc Wilkinsons. Been in business for 70 years. And not to miss is Buster's BBQ. His hot sauce will literally bring tears to your eyes, in a good way. Cole slaw and potato salad were excellent too. We got beef ribs and tri tips. Super yummy.

We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years.
We have been vacationing in Calistoga for over 30 years. We have seen a lot of changes good and not so good ( prices at our favorite Spa doubled ) but none have kept us away. We found a few hotels with mineral water pools that are reasonably priced. It's a wonderful town, the people that live and work here are friendly and helpful. We have always felt safe in Calistoga. We always go to Soo Yuan Restaurant at least once a stay. We miss the mexican restaurant that was next to Cal Mart. Most of the time we get take home food from Cal Mart, it's always great . We nearly always walk to town, but if not, we have never had trouble finding parking - there are plenty of public parking lots and public restrooms.

Calistoga is a beautiful town with many hotels that have mineral water pools. Very easy to get around. Best restaurant in town is at The Calistoga Inn. I would avoid The Mount View Inn as it needs a lot of repair/remodeling (and I do like older historic buildings).
There are a lot of interesting shops, hiking, biking, etc.

We had a lovely time in Calistoga.
We had a lovely time in Calistoga. The accommodations were exactly what we were looking for......clean with no chemical smells, spacious, kitchenette and comfy beds. Getting around Calistoga was easy, walkable and spas all around. We enjoyed our time in the hot tub and pool.

Beautiful.
Beautiful. Our hotel was in walking distance of everything we needed and wanted. Amazing spa treatments. Delicious wine and food. Quaint shops great atmosphere, friendly people. Everything was spectacular.
We had a great stay at the motor lodge. The staff were so friendly and helpful, ready with recomendations and suggestions and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The decoration is modern and fun, and very comfortable. The lodge is a short walk from downtown Calistoga and in a very calm area so no disruption from external noises at any time. Lots of nice hikes close by and easy walk to some wineries! The restaurant is delicious and the facilities are great! Hope to enjoy more of the spa and pool next time
Nice little motor-lodge just outside of downtown Calistoga. (About a 10 minute walk into town.) Pools were nice, clean and warm. The pool-side surroundings weren't great. A bit moldy and worn-out. Restaurant was disappointing. Orders were wrong, food was cold, service was spotty. Staff were nice, but the whole dining experience just felt very disorganized and apathetic. Got a good rate on Booking.com, but it felt overpriced for what it was. Mostly enjoyed our trip, but would try somewhere else in the future.
The place isn't posh but it is good value for what you get- cabins with kitchens and outside bbq, pool, and hot tub.
We were in Calistoga for Bottle Rock this year. It was really expensive near Napa. This place turned out to be perfect and it's right near town and some great wineries. The drive into Napa was easy.
It's in a neighborhood so it's quiet. The grounds have a pool, bbq, and many places to sit.
We thought this will be great to come back to another time.
It was unusually cold and raining during our stay. We were still able to utilize the hot tub (a perfect 102 degrees). In fact, the back patio is beautiful, including a heated pool. We had a massage in their spa area which was a bit too quaint for our liking considering the $200 fee for a Swedish massage with an additional $40 gratuity automatically included. There is an old world charm, however, that makes the Mount View Inn appealing.
Most hotels have a noisy heater so we can’t sleep. Instead, Golden Haven had the option of a silent plug in! Nicely done! The pools and hot tubs and mud bath which we came for were great! Bed was comfortable. So great had Level 2 charger for EV! Relatively expensive to charge but the convenience of it wonderful and we were able to make it back to the I5. Didn’t have time to use bikes- noted they had them. Would stay again.
Super friendly people working at The Inn on Pine! Perfect location in Calistoga to explore all the Napa Valley treasures. Cozy and clean room with a very comfortable bed. Little kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, sink, winecooler etc.
The complementary continental breakfast is just superb.
We stay here every time we want to get away from the busy life from the Bay Area. An excellent hotel, clean, services and the hot spring spas was the best. Love the cottage and we will always come more than 4 times a year.
The hotel is lovely if you're looking to relax for a couple of days in nature, enjoy some good wine, bask in the quiet, and indulge in quality service. The hotel's restaurant is superb, and the spa is quite enjoyable.
. The pool and hit tub was nice. Room clean and comfortable. Good location . Close to wineries, reataurants and the small downtown shops.. id stay here again. Not fancy or a five star hotel. No restaurant or bar.
The Inn is very quaint, quiet, & conveniently located one block from downtown. The room was spacious, updated and the patio area for breakfast and afternoon snacks was cozy and welcoming. Really loved it!
This property is absolutely lovely, a few minutes walk from downtown, and it exceeded my expectations. I will definitely return again! I loved all the extras it included, we had a great stay.
Excellent service, very sweet staff. Spa services were great too. Mineral pool and Jacuzzi were great. Great location with all restaurants within a mile. Coffee in the morning was great too.
Very warm welcome. Lots of parking. Very comfortable large room. Outdoor pool and jacuzzi were really lovely..short walk into Calistoga. Good breakfast…lots of choice
